As the 4th largest bottled water brand in the world, AQUA can make a huge impact in the war on plastic waste. Bijak Berplastik (‘Plastic Wisdom’) is their first ambitious campaign to do just that.
As part of the campaign, Danone’s Indonesian brand has developed a completely new label-free bottle made from 100% recycled plastic. As part of their commitment to creating innovative solutions that address the widespread plastic waste challenge that the world is facing, the bottle is also 100% recyclable. All of which supports Danone’s global goal for 2025 to make every piece of packaging – from bottle caps to yoghurt cups – reusable, recyclable, or compostable.”
At Everland, we are proud to have taken part in this initiative. Together with AQUA, we created an embossing on the bottle that made a conventional sleeve redundant. This move will help make the bottle 100% recyclable and reduce the amount of used plastic in each bottle. The embossment also sets it apart from the rest of the water brands.
